Finally finished the main story, watching/listening to the credits now. After having the game on Xbox One X, then letting it stall there, I got it on PC sometime last year after getting a nice PC. I played it a bit and got to about 40-45% or so, I guess, and let it stall again.
I finally decided I needed to just finish the main story. I focused on that and let the side quests and hunts, etc, chill for the most part. I'd play RDR2 for a few nights and then go back to D2. The past few nights, I've been back on D1, of all things, but decided tonight to see what I could do.
I knew I was close to the end as I was in the epilogues, but didn't think I'd finish tonight. I'm surprised I missed the big spoiler just before the epilogues. I wasn't expecting that and I was surprised.
Overall, this game was pretty incredible. The story was good, but it ultimately boiled down to revenge and justice. I played through as a good guy, but decided to just blast some fools at the end, but nothing happened there as a result. I may have to revisit that when I go back in to do some of the side quests and things like that.
And now that I'm done with RDR2, I can justify getting Indiana Jones & the Great Circle (if I don't get it for Xmas, that is).
Also, I need to get my Xbox working right so I can play RDR, the original. The Xbox's DVD keeps randomly ejecting, which can interrupt the games, so I'll have to see about how that can be fixed.
Time to get my exploring going!
