I recorded one more song in my "home studio". Of the 11 songs Sean gave me, I have 9 rough bass tracks done. Well, fleshed out, actually. Good ideas, though I haven't heard a lot of feedback from Sean yet.
I've been doing all of the with the good ol' Sterling. Now, I'm no recording engineer, so I have no idea if things are dialed in correctly or not, but for a home brew setup, the bass tone I'm getting is round, full and fairly tasty, I suppose. Well, it doesn't sound like ass, so that's good, right?
I think I will do run-throughs on the J and the ATK this weekend to check tones. If anything, it gives me an excuse to play bass and hear how great I am!
